As a member of the Community Chris has built relationships with businesses, individuals and Non-Profits to help strengthen and empower the people of Lockport.
A Family man, Chris and his wife Robin take great pride in raising their son Nikolas in the tight knit community of Lockport. They enjoy taking walks along the Canal and supporting local businesses often.
Chris truly believes that the City of Lockport has more to offer to tourists than what they know about. His goal is to find ways to help bring people here to Shop, Live and Enjoy the City we are proud to call home!
Chris may not always tell you what you want to hear, but he will never tell you something he knows is untrue. Honesty and transparency are the keys to being a good leader, and he wants to be our community leader.
Leaders don't just talk, or make decisions. They listen to the people they represent and learn what's most important for them. Chris will always have lines of communication open so that those he represents can have their voice heard.
Chris Wronski was never one to follow the crowd, or stand by and watch while something wrong was happening. He strives to be a leader in everything he does, whether it be in Business, as a father, or on the Board for Non-Profits. Being a leader is not easy, and it is usually a thankless job, but it's the most important thing you can do for those around you to make your community a better place.
My Name is Christopher Wronski, I’m a Husband, Father, Small Business Owner, life-long Lockportian, and I’m running for 4th Ward Alderman. Having lived here my entire life, I have seen some good times and some down times in this city. The one thing that I know for certain is that the good times had great leaders in local offices, individuals that represented the people of the city with a finger on the pulse of those that live and work here. Right now, that is exactly what we need to bring back to the city, strong leadership that understands that local office is a Civil Service, one that gives you a chance to represent your neighbors and friends honestly with their best interests in mind. That is one of my core beliefs, that as a representative of the people of the 4th ward it is my responsibility to listen to my neighbors and cast my vote and help create policies that are important to them and in their best interest. I’m not someone that will follow along with Status Quo, I want to make a difference in people’s lives and lead this city to become best version of itself that it can be.
The first thing I get asked by each person I talk to is “Why are you running for Alderman of the 4th ward?” The answer is simple, I want to make this city a better place to live for my neighbors, friends, family and especially for my Son. As a father I feel it is my responsibility to give my child a better life than I had, which will be difficult because my parents are amazing individuals who raised myself and my sisters to become the best version of ourselves. The only way that I see an opportunity to do more is by affecting the entire community we live in to make our City one we can all be proud to call home. Were I to be elected by my peers, I will have open communication lines for anyone and everyone in the ward to voice their opinions and share their experiences (good and bad) so that I can connect with them more closely and represent them fairly. If Status Quo no longer works for you in local office, then look for Christopher Wronski on your ballot and fill in that bubble, it’s time for real leadership to make positive change.
Though I plan on funding the campaign myself, Donations towards the cause would be more than appreciated! Just know that all of your donations will go towards helping to make the City one we can be even more proud to call home, and any donations that are left over after the campaign will promptly be donated to local charities in the community to help those that truly need it. Whether I win or not, a donation to the Friends of Chris Wronski fund will go towards helping our community.
When times are great in a city it's because we have strong leaders in place that can guide the people, the policies, and the other members of the government to solutions that are best for everyone. When times are hard in a city, the leadership is at fault. Whether it's because the people in power are not listening to their constituents, or getting influenced by outside sources to make decisions that may not be what's best for the people or the city itself.
What we need in Lockport right now is Strong Leaders, and I have a track record of being one of those strong leaders throughout my life. I've been a Captain for sports teams starting in Little Loop Football all the way to being a Captain of the Baseball team in College. Beyond that, my wife and I own a small business that focuses on helping other businesses and Non-Profits as well as sitting on the Board of a Local Non-Profit. If you are looking for someone who will take charge, lead by example, listen to YOU so that decisions made in the city reflect your needs, then VOTE Chris Wronski
I am a Lifelong Lockportian. I grew up here, went to John Pound, Emmet Belknap and Lockport High School. After I graduated College I moved back and set down roots with my family that includes my wife Robin and our son Nikolas.
Why is that important? I've what this city was, is, and what it could be. I am proud to be from Lockport, and my wife is a proud transplant from Rochester. So when I see empty buildings, homes in disrepair, young people leaving for "greener pastures", businesses struggling, tourists not showing up, violence, and crime, it hurts me down to my core.
That is why I'm running for Alderman, it's the first step for me to make a difference, enact change and do something that will help my neighbors and make my family and friends proud. Help me bring out the potential of Lockport, VOTE Chris Wronski
Chris does more than just run his business in Lockport, he finds ways to give back to the community however he can. He has worked with churches in the past to help them with Tech Support, setting up websites and helping to streamline charitable giving all at either donated time or vastly discounted rates. Chris also helps kids going to school by offering internships that get them ready for not just college but the workforce. He also sits on the Board of the local charity "Project CKC", where he maintain the website pro bono, and helps to raise money for people that are going through cancer treatments so those families can keep food on the table, a roof over their head.
